Mirumoto Satobe

Mirumoto Satobe

Mirumoto Satobe was a bushi and kensai of the Dragon Clan.

War of Dark Fire[]

In 1171 Satobe fought in the Battle of Shiro Mirumoto. The Army of Fire laid a siege to Shiro Mirumoto, and Satobe was defending the castle walls. A wyrm appeared to attack the defenders. Satobe jumped over the beast and killed it. Satobe survived, but the wyrm, enhanced by the Dark Oracle of Fire's powerful magic was used to blast a whole in the walls of the castle. Satobe recovered and aided by Togashi Oeno and Togashi Binya defended the castle perimeter against the first raiders, allowing the countercharge of the Dragon which drove off the yobanjin. [1] After the War he had several dozen soldiers under his command to patrol the border between the Mirumoto provinces and the Lion lands. [2]

Destroyer War[]

In 1172 Satobe investigated the disappearance of all the peasants in several small villages. They were trapped by a zombie horde, which were the dead corpses of the missing villagers, fallen to the plague. The timely arrival Togashi Chunoken and Togashi Wirro saved the day for the Dragon. Chunoken became an undead killing Mirumoto Tannomiru, and in turn he was struck down. [2] The entire unit was destroyed in the ambush. Only Mirumoto Yukai and him survived. [3]

Another Wyrm attack[]

They were appointed in the first guardtower, in the western Dragon lands, a remote place far from any front. The tower was attacked by the Army of Fire led by the Son of Fire. Satobe managed to wound two times the wyrm, and drove it back. After it the Son of Fire fled with few yobanjin survivors. [3]

Sensei[]

Satobe became a sensei of the Mirumoto Swordmaster school. He accepted Mirumoto Houken as a new student after the yojimbo defeated him in a kenjutsu duel. [4]
