Merchant Quarter
The Merchant Quarter of Medinaat al-Salaam was the place where the business carried on, alongside the small river Nahr'umar, [1] on its west and east sides. [2]
Attacked[]
In 1132 during the Shattering of the Jewel the Merchant Quarter was attacked, and a great explosion destroyed part of it. [3]
