Kakita Bushi
Kakita Bushi were samurai of the bushi caste trained at the Kakita Dueling Academy in the Crane lands. [1]
Location[]
The dojo was located at Shiro sano Kakita and was founded by Kakita, the mortal husband of the Kami Doji and arguably the greatest duelist in the history of Rokugan. [2]
Training[]
Kakita trained bushi were regarded as some of the finest duelists in the Empire, embodying Kakita's original techniques. The school's particular emphasis was on focusing for the perfect strike, as opposed to their chief competitor for preeminence in the art of the sword, the Mirumoto school of practical swordsmanship. [2]
