Iuchi Umeka was a shugenja of the Unicorn Clan and a member of the Baraunghar. She attained the status of enlightenment.

Enlightenment[]
Iuchi Umeka
Umeka have a brief few days to study alongside the Keepers of the Elements, gaining much insight into the true nature of the universe in the process. [1] She existed in a state of harmony with the elements previously unknown among the Unicorn. [2]
Khan's Defiance[]
Umeka was a taisa in the Baraunghar. she survived the march through the Lion lands and the Battle of Toshi Ranbo. [1]
War of Dark Fire[]
During the War of Dark Fire Umeka was appointed with the scouting groups that the Khan Moto Chen had dispatched to the Great Northern Mountains under the command of Moto Xiao. In 1171 they saw part of the yobanjin Army of Fire leaving the Isawa Mori toward the Dragon Heart Plain and the ruins of Shiro Chuda, where dangerous spirits could be awakened. [1]
Death[]
Umeka sacrificed herself in a direct confrontation with the raiders alone. She called the elements and unleashed ten bolts of lightning. Each bolt struck one of the largest among the Yobanjin, eliciting a massive series of fireballs that consumed the ranks almost in their entirety, and Umeka with them. [1]
