Glassblower
Gurasuka was the rokugani term for glass artisans, an ability developed by several tribes before the dawning of the Empire, including the Tribe of Isawa, as a side-effect of learning how to create glazed pottery. The use of glass-making for practical purposes was introduced after the Return of the Ki-Rin. [1]
Modern Use of Glass[]
The glassblowers made glass practicing an art the Unicorn learned during their journeys over the Burning Sands. Before it only pottery was made in Rokugan. The Kuni family found glass to be resistant to noxious oni secretions and used it as a handy laboratory tool. [2] Most Rokugani glass contained baryte crystals and lead, which made the resulting glass look more brilliant. [1] Diamonds were used to cut the glass. [3]
