Chuk'tek were members of the council of elder warriors that advised and assisted nezumi Chieftains. One of the Chuk'tek would normally become the new chief upon the death of the previous chieftain. How to became a Chuk'tek was different for each tribe. The Grasping Paw Tribe, for instance, placed great emphasis on stealth and thievery, thus many chuk'tek of this tribe were rogues or ninja. The Crippled Bone Tribe emphasized strength and battle prowess, thus having more fighters and Chitatchikkan. [2]
