The Bloodworks
The Bloodworks was a forge built by the Chuda family to mimic the rituals of the madman Kokujin, following the creation of the Shameswords. The Chuda used blades to torture victims at length, and the maho rituals combined with the intense suffering awakened the kami within the items, which were replaced with kansen who had been attracted by the pain.
