People |
Akodo Hari was a bushi of the Lion Clan.
Demeanor[]
Hari was a contemplative, philosophical man who excelled at the arts of war, becoming a young taisa in the Akodo armies, and was never defeated. He refused all further opportunities for advancement, claiming that to advance farther would be to advance to a position where he did not know his men, and a true leader must know his men or face certain defeat. [1]
Scorpion Coup[]
Hari lived at Otosan Uchi prior to the Scorpion Coup. [2] He refused to slaughter the Scorpion as they were surrendering in 1123, following the failure of the Coup. [3] He requested and was granted by Matsu Tsuko permission to perform seppuku on the battlefield, and died that day in front of his men. [1]
I will not slaughter defeated men.
