The Festival of the Humble Turtle was held annually at Kenson Gakka to mark the events surrounding the Lion's capture of the city from the former Scorpion owners. [1] It was held every spring, just after the planting season. It began with a grand parade that started at the castle, passed through Kenson Mura, and ended at the parade grounds at the foot of the castle. [2]
Contests[]
Most of the contests held during the festival were martial in nature. Many were based upon the teachings of the Akodo War College and other Lion military schools. [3]
