Eiko no Mori was a small forest located in the Twilight Mountains, alongside the road which descended from the remote plateau known as the Lair. The trees in and around the Lair were mostly evergreens, primarily pines, the climate being too chilly to support deciduous trees. Bandit organizations as the Forest Killers and the Serpents of Sanada had their lairs in the forest at various times. [1]
Grove of Games[]
The Grove of Games was deep within the Eiko no Mori, where a go board was ready at all times for a new game. If players were forced to abandon a game and then later return to the grove, they would find the pieces of their incomplete game perpetually ready. [2]
