An artifact said to be of immense power, the Egg of P'an Ku is what the mad dragon P'an Ku turned himself into after being driven insane by the power of Nothing and the Taint. It is said to have the power to create a shadow replicate of anyone and anything.

The Egg was used during the Clan War by Bayushi Kachiko to exact revenge on Doji Hoturi who had killed their son Bayushi Dairu. Making a copy of Hoturi, the False Hoturi masqueraded as him, nearly destroying the Crane Clan.
