Doji Jun was a Kitsune spirit of the Crane Clan.
Kitsune[]
She was Kitsune who saw Hida Akeno when he was a child. She loved the boy immediately and went to live among the Crane so she could find him and marry the Crab. She transformed in a Crane maiden, Doji Jun. [1]
Crab life and Death[]
Akeno was betrothed to Jun when he was still a boy, chosen as part of a treaty. The Second Yasuki War was over in 1160 and marriages were made to seal the truce. They married, and a son was granted. She became ill, as many Kitsune who lived far from Chikushudo, and before her death she told the truth to her husband. [1]
"A fox should not marry a mortal. It cannot end well, but I could not deny my feelings."

After death[]
Jun's spirit waited her husband, who died in the Destroyer War defending his lands. [1]
