Doji Iname was a courtier of the Crane Clan. He was appointed as the chief ambassadors of the Crane Embassy at Nikesake during the Four Winds era. His appointment to Nikesake was a great accomplishment but he realized that the Phoenix considered the Master of Water Doji Akiko to be the chief representative of the Crane,so he was not included on many important matters. Iname hosted impressive and lavish parties which made him very popular among the Phoenix within the city. [1]
