Doji Chieri served Crane Clan Champion Doji Domotai at Kyuden Doji in 1168, and escorted Doji Nagori and Doji Seishiro to meet Domotai following the news of the Battle of the Tomb.[1]

Chieri married Matsu Yoshino, the Lion Clan Champion, becoming Matsu Chieri. Two days after their marriage she summoned all of Yoshino's estate managers and asked them to explain their accounts to her, so that she could fulfill her duties as his wife. Six days later she was managing them all herself. [2]
[edit] Death of Yoshino
Yoshino was killed in 1170, and the Lion Clan Championship passed to Akodo Shigetoshi.[3] It is unknown what has become of Chieri afterwards.
