- Farsight: a great deal of knowledge could be garnered with use of these spells. The sahir's visions became telescopic, earned divination knowledge with use of pool of water or mirrors, and might end other sahir's observation.
- Astrology: the spells of this type allowed the sahir to learn from the stars. The sahir might find a person's immediate destiny, places, organizations or individuals, and also to obscure hiw own fate from others.
