- Blessings: these spells allowed a sahir to tap into the potential inherent in all beings to excel, and moved them closer to their best effort, improving the odds in one's favor.
- Curses: they drew forth the potential any being carried within it to £ail, stumble, or lose its stride. The sahir might reduce their chances of success, as they make poor decisions and constantly fail to remember their training, or sap the competence of a being with only a barked command.
