Early Retirement Edit
Yugon was a skilled Lion commander who eventually became a shireikan to a general. He was forced to an early retirement after he gave a critical, detailed, and extremely long opinion on the current state of the Lion military. He believed a failure not to maintain a standing navy and had argued the Lion should regularly engage the Mantis in naval warfare in order to hone their ability.
As the monk Daisetsu he first attempted to join the Order of the Thousand Fortunes, but the Abbot of the nearest temple reinforced his beliefs about his caln's mistakes. He traveled to the seacoast, where he joined a temple to Suitengu, Fortune of the Sea, to better understand the aquatic battleground.
Eternal Danger Islands Edit
Daisetsu moved to the Eternal Danger Islands, and he sculpted a lasting shrine to the Fortune of the Sea in the main island, Hantei's Point. He gained fame recently by utilizing his spiritual connections to walk upon the very waters of the great whirlpool in the center of the archipelago, known as Umi-Bozu's Teeth.
