Daigotsu Tenbatsu was a bushi of the Spider Clan. Among the Spider he was known as a paragon of Shourido and was called the Dark Prophet. He had the ability to know if someone spoke the truth to him.^[1]

Station Edit

He was a gunso of the Spider legions during the final battle of the Destroyer War in 1173. He witnessed Fu Leng's death and how the now divine Daigotsu ascended from Jigoku and slew the gaijin goddess Kali-Ma. Once the goddess was dead, he ripped his helmet away, dropped to the ground, tears flowing freely from his eyes, tore his shirt open to reveal his bare chest. "Daigotsu-sama," he sobbed. "My life for you!"

He was the first to pledge his loyalty and life to the new Master of Jigoku, Daigotsu. The remaining Spider bent their knee as one after Tenbatsu's oath. ^[2]

Council Member Edit

After the Spider Clan was elevated to a Great Clan, a ruling council was formed that led the clan during the youth of Daigotsu Kanpeki, who had been chosen to become the Clan Champion by his father, Daigotsu. Tenbatsu was a member of the council until Kanpeki came of age. ^[1]

Seiatsu Edit

Tenbatsu was the wielder of Seiatsu as part of the arrangement between the Unicorn Clan Champion and Daigotsu Kanpeki. ^[1]
