Daidoji Karazu was a merchant patron of the Crane Clan. His grandfather was a painter of some note, proficient in a popular sumi-e style. During a visit to Lonely Shore City he was pleased with Doji Marutomo, and commented favorably on him to the governor, Doji Gennai. [1]
