Chrysanthemum tattoo is named for the chrysanthemum, which is also known as the "sun flower". It was the blessed blossom of Amaterasu, and the symbol of the Imperial line. The tattoo grants the monk increased healing time, but it only works while the sun is in the sky. (Dragon pp. 45-46)
