Chiisai

Chiisai was an elephant of the personal stables of the Maharaja. ^[1] The stables were found in 1198 by the Unicorn, but the creature was traded one week later to the Crab Clan. ^[2]

Chiisai was tamed by the Crab to be used in combat ^[3] but the intelligent creature also worked for the Rokugani to claim lands of the Colonies under the command of Kaiu Esumi. Chiisai found a crystal item that Esumi kept for further study of the Kuni. ^[4]
