Cherry Blossom Row was a strip of residences populated by artisans in the Hayasu district of Otosan Uchi, [1] located at the base of the hill and running parallel to the River of the Sun. This strip was so-named because of the cherry trees which lined the waterway, cultivated by the neighborhood's resident artisans from the Kakita Academy. [2]
