Champion's Guard were those Hida Elite Guardsmen who accumulated experience and seniority to move on to senior command and staff positions in the Crab armies, or those who were particularly renowned for their prowess as fighters. They were the yojimbo of the Crab Clan Champion and other of the Clan's most important personages. [1]
