The Carriers of the Fire was a yobanjin tribe who were ruled by the council of elders of the city of Qiang Qiang. The tribe also held several fortresses in the northern steppes, defenses against the Ujik-hai raiders. The Carriers harvested their poor land, fished the waters of the icy Bai He river, and created tools and weapons with the abundant coal in the area. [1]
War of dark Fire[]
When the Dark Oracle of Fire started spreading his influence across the Yobanjin lands, the Carriers entrenched themselves in their cities and fortresses. Qiang Qiang became a rallying point for many refugees from smaller tribes during the War of Dark Fire. After the war the Carriers were the one of the largest tribes among the Yobanjin. [2]
