Bunzo was a brother monk of the Shinmaki Shinseist at the Temple of Ebisu. One day, he found a feral girl fully corrupted by the taint. From his experience, he decided it best to kill her, but the magistrate with him refused to kill her. A few days later a young, arrogant shugenja arrived and became interested in the child in the cage. He decided to show her mercy and bring her home with him, much to the tainted girl's delight. Bunzo gathered villagers who would listen to his warnings and took them from the village. That night, the shugenja went mad and burned down the village with maho and then destroyed himself. Bunzo returned a few weeks later, and now waits for tsukai-sagasu to help him destroy the girl. [1]
