Blackened Sight

The Blackened Sight kata is a revered as a high art among the Scorpion, and few have mastered its movements and focused state of mind required. The kata was developed by Bayushi Nikute centuries ago, and the complex movements summon forth the chi of the bushi, pshing it outward around him that slowly create shadowy reflections of himself. When the ritual is complete the eyes of the bushi are completely black and his form shimmers and flickers making it harder for him to be hit. (Samurai p. 66)
