Bayushi Tsai was the Tsai district's governor prior to the Scorpion Coup.

Demeanor Edit

Tsai was cold and ruthless, brutally efficient and absolutely committed to the Scorpion Clan. He despised the rest of the Clans, but the Lion, since he marrried to his True Love Matsu Gamako. ^[1]

Hatamoto Edit

Tsai was appointed as hatamoto to the Scorpion Clan Champion Bayushi Shoju. ^[2]

District Governor Edit

Tsai was appointed in 1123, and his first action was removing all the Dragon members of the district's council. He replaced them with his own people. ^[3] Tsai appointed his eldest brother, Bayushi Komei, a Shosuro Assassin, who did similar with the criminal elements, replaced by his own opium smugglers. ^[4]

Scorpion Coup Edit

Tsai had been working closely with Bayushi Shoju for months, preparing the Scorpion Coup, and handling the district and militias to the Scorpion. In the fifth day it was evident the failure of the Coup, and Tsai fled, never to be seen again. The district was merged with the Kosuga district after several weeks abandoned and without leadership. ^[5]
