Bayushi Rikoji was a Scorpion Clan Champion.

Ambition[]

Rikoji was given the Bloodsword Ambition by Asahina Yajinden in 508 but suspected foul sorcery and never touched the sword. After the deaths of Hida Tenburo, Akodo Meikuko and Doji Tanaka, Rikoji dispatched the magistrate and shugenja Soshi Takasho to find Asahina Yajinden, leading to the Battle of Stolen Graves in 510. [1] He had ordered the bloodsword locked in the deepest vaults of a Bayushi Castle. [2]

Successor[]

Rikoji was succeeded by Bayushi Tsuya. [3]

Sources Conflict
The sources relating to this article are in conflict with each other.
"Bloodspeakers", page 51 named wrongly Rikoji as Kikoji. Almost certainly a typo, as all other sources confirm Rikoji is the correct spelling.
