Bayushi Aramoro was the brother of the Scorpion Clan Champion Bayushi Hajioki, and a ninja leader. He and many of his followers were executed when Hantei X decided to end the Scorpion Clan's network of ninja. [1]

Aramoro and the Ninja Edit

Shosuro Nodage was charged by Bayushi Hajioki to weave an intricate set of myths about Aramoro and the ninja. According the those myths, the ghost of Aramoro came to a small splinter group of Scorpion spies, ordering them to seek revenge for his death. These spies faked their own deaths and then used dark magics to merge their bodies with the shadows themselves. The "shadow warriors" would gain revenge on those allied with the Emerald Champion of the time, and those guilty of the fall of Aramoro.

As the myth gained weight, the Scorpion would begin using novice spies to stage "ninja sightings" all over the Empire, while the more experienced members of the Clan did the real job. [2]

One year to the date after the death of Bayushi Aramoro, the Emerald Champion was found dead in his bome. His head and hands were missing: the traditional punishment for those who were found guilty of practicing black magic. [3]

Aftermath Edit

Plays Edit

Aramoro's death was one of the most recreated events in plays and novels, [4] as a popular play of Akodo Jimomen, which was outlawed by the Emperor. [5]

Lying Darkness Edit

One of the ninja driven from the Scorpion, Goju, was full of pain and isolation. The man was eventually touched by the Nothing, and infected by Goju's madness, the Nothing was twisted into the Lying Darkness. The new entity was an evil power which would try to undone the world. [6]
