The Battle of Honor's Flight, known by the Crab as the Battle of Flying Cranes was fought during the Rice War.

Preambles Edit

During the Great Famine the Crab invaded the arable lands of the Crane, starting the Rice War, to seize the fields that could fed them. [1]

Battle Edit

In 663 the Crab Clan Champion Hida Tsuneko overrun much of the southern Crane lands seizing Jukami Mura. The Daidoji Daimyo, Daidoji Katsunan, was cut down by Tsuneko when the Crane tried to challenge her to a duel. The Crane defenders fell into disarray and many of them were forced off a low cliff that overlooked the harbor. For that reason the Crab called it the 'Battle of Flying Cranes'. [2]
