Bag of Necessity

The Bag of Necessity supposedly belonged to the famous merchant Yasuki Hohiro. [1]

Appearance Edit

The bag was a pouch which appeared to be oversized, bound together with a silk strap. It could be worn like a sack on ones back or a pouch on a belt, and designs and symbols were sewn across the fabric, promoting good fortune. [1]

Abilities Edit

The bag was passed down from Yasuki Daimyo to Yasuki Daimyo, and provided the bearer with whatever they may need. If they required money all they needed to do was reach into the bag and they would find exactly what they needed to cover their expenses. The bag did not produce more than what they needed, so it might give out enough money to stay at an inn, but not enough to buy the inn. The bag could carry approximately one half ken-o of weight. [1]

History Edit

It was known that Yasuki Taka used it quite extensively to fulfill his most urgent requirements. [2] It was carried by every Yasuki daimyo after Hohiro until the appointment of Daidoji Hachi as the new daimyo of the family in the 12th century. The Crab Clan refused to relinquish any of the Yasuki birthrights to someone they considered to be a base usurper. [3]
