Asako Nichiren was a powerful courtier, scholar, and bloodspeaker of the Phoenix Clan at Kyuden Asako. [1]

Bloodspeaker Edit

In 1151 Asako Kyoji, son of the master of the Asako Henshin, released a dark spirit, the Greater Kansen Boutoku, from the Ruby of Iuchiban. The evil spirit taught maho and it was founded a cultist cell, alongside with the the treasurer's scribe Kempai, and Kyoji's lover Asako Chisato. [2] In 1160 Chisato was his lover and she was with child . [3]

Plotting Edit

The cell believed they would doom the Asako family whit the aid of the kansen. Nichiren warned Kyoji against this venture from the start, and took measures to prepare himself for its inevitable disastrous conclusion, as buying Tea of Jade Petals to conceal his taint, or leave Kyuden Asako on a diplomatic mission. Nichiren was Kyoji's ears and his closest advisor, but as Kyoji's Taint increased, Nichiren prepared his getaway, that could include the betrayal of his master. If he survived a new cultist cell would be created under his guidance. [4]
