Armor of Radiance , also known as Oil of Awakening Flames (Alchemy), Armor of Osano-wo (Ancestral), or Robes of the Ifrit (Foreign), was a Rank 2 fire invocation in which the shugenja by appealing to the fire kami that slumbered within an object, could turn even a set of armor into a weapon. The fire kami's creative energy expanded rapidly as the incantation ended, causing shimmering radiance to burst forth into a halo of fire that encircled the armor. These flames were harmless to the wearer. [1]
