Arashi was a Mantis bushi and member of the Kolat. He met Hasame in the Islands of Silk and Spice, and made the ronin considered him a friend. Arashi was killed with his own kama when he tried to assassinate Hasame, who awoke before the killing strike was dealt. [1] Hasame had been hunted by the kolat since he and his father found the Lost Texts of the Unicorn, an evidence of the Kolat activities to infiltrate in the Shinjo, the ruler family of the Unicorn.
