Akodo Uragiri
Born: Unknown
Died: 12th century

Akodo Uragiri was a general of the Lion Clan and Lord of the Shinboru province. [1] [2]

Daimyo Edit

Uragiri was a minor daimyo of the Akodo who lived at Shiro sano Ken Hayai, the Palace of the Swift Sword. One of the villages under his command was harassed by the ronin bandit Osore-oi, and Uragiri dispatched his taisa Akodo Ginawa who dealt with the menace. [3] [2]

Death Edit

Uragiri was goaded by Ginawa to attack the Dragon village of Kuchikeru, and the taisa was sent to earn another victory to the Lion. Ginawa and his chui, Akodo Futetsu, returned and reported they had avoided engagement and battle. Uragiri was angry, and commanded Futetsu to execute Ginawa on the spot for cowardy. The taisa claimed Uragiri was not his true master and beheaded him with the bloodsword Revenge. Both Uragiri and Ginawa had been tricked by a ninja follower of Osore-oi, which in revenge for his master's death had led the general into his demise and Ginawa to be outcast from the Lion. [4] [5]
