Akodo Tetsuru was a bushi and tactician of the Lion Clan that died as a commander during the Destroyer War.
Destroyer War[]
In the month of the Hare of 1173 [1] Tetsuru was commanding a combined force of Lion, Unicorn and Hare warriors at Kudo. When the snow began to chill the Destroyers resumed their advance in the area. Tetsuru ordered to evacuate the village, and to leave it undefended. The village was not fortified and they had no possibilities to halt the offensive. [2]
Death[]
While defending the Mantis village of Shaiga against the Destroyers in 1173, with Doji Saori, he noticed that an illegal mine was hidden there. Saori suggested to keep the information quiet in exchange for some of the profits. He was enraged by it and decided to denounce her. Unfortunately for him, she managed to wound his shoulder during the fight so that he could not defend himself against the Destroyers any more, because he was only wielding an ono. [3] Mirumoto Katsutoshi took command o the forces. [4]
