Seizuka wished a position as Imperial Cartographer, and he wandered throughout the Lion lands, comparing the land to Imperial maps. He made his own maps, despite his superiors accepted only the Imperial maps. Seizuka continued his work, patrolling the border with the Crane for years.
Gaining Nimuro's Favor Edit
In the summer of 1153 Seizuka noticed to the Lion Clan Champion, Matsu Nimuro, a secret road which crossed the Plain of Peasant's Sorrow. It had been used by the Crane for years, keeping the troops at Toshi Ranbo fed and armed. Despite Nimuro presented his plans in the Imperial Court in fron of the Crane, the Lion forces took Toshi Ranbo with little resistance. Seizuka's maps proved invaluable, allowing the Lion troops to take advantage of the terrain and forestall Crane ambushes.
Seizkua family Edit
As a reward for Seizuka's service, he was made the head of a new vassal family under the Akodo, the Seizuka family, with the duty to continue mapping the lands of the Empire. In 1155 it was built Seizuka Shiro, between Ninkatoshi and Toshi Ranbo. His wife would be known as Seizuka Kaiko, who tended personally the stables of the family. Their children would continue the duties of the family.
